Requirements for Robert Cook Hall Of Fame
(Taken directly from the Water-Oak Circle of Sports By-Laws)
Article X Robert Cook Hall Of Fame:
The Water-Oak Circle of Sports has been given the authority, by the Watertown Board of Education, to represent the Hall of Fame area, which is located in the main hallway at the Watertown High School. Within this area there are plaques for the Robert Cook Hall of Fame, Watertown High School All-Staters and Coaches Milestone.

Section 1: The Robert Cook Hall Of Fame

A) Requirements

There will be no age, residency, or gender requirements to be eligible for nomination.
The Robert Cook Hall of Fame shall be open to any past or present long-term employee of the Watertown Board of Education, i.e., Coach, Teacher, Administrator, or other capacity who is/was employed within the school system for a minimum of ten (10) years (which may not be consecutive) and any student/athlete at the Watertown High School or graduate from the High School whose athletic prowess has earned him/her high athletic honors beyond High School.

B). Robert Cook Hall of Fame Nomination Procedure
The nomination(s) to the Hall of Fame will be made at the fall meetings, September, October, November, to the Hall of Fame Committee. There will be no age, residency, or gender requirements to be eligible for nomination. The Hall of Fame Committee will be appointed by the President. The Hall of Fame Committee will consist of five (5) members, at least two (2) past Presidents and three (3) Gold Ring recipients. After the conclusion of nominations in November, the committee will review and select possible candidates for the (Robert Cook) Hall of Fame, The presentation of names to be considered by the body of the Gold Circle will be made at a regular scheduled meeting in April. There is no restriction to the number of candidates that can be nominated. However, only one nominee will be presented to the membership for voting. Hall of Fame candidates will be voted on by the members at the first or last meeting in April, a simple majority will determine the outcome. Induction will be either the last week in May or the first week in June. Nominations must be submitted each year, none will be carried over from the previous year(s).

C). Induction Procedure
Induction at the request of the Water-Oak Circle of Sports will be either the last week of May or the first week of June in the year of nomination. The induction ceremony will be held in the Hall of Fame area of the Watertown High School library.
The Water-Oak Gold Circle of Sports will issue invitations to all inductees, their families, friends, school administrators and town officials.
